Gus Sonberg brings over 13 years of small business experience as an owner/operator in the tourist industry and five years of corporate experience in supply chain management, providing him a unique perspective to help guide clients in either the selling or purchasing of businesses.

A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a 30 year resident of Hilton Head Island, Gus Sonberg is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in 1990.  Starting in 1991, he managed the Sonberg-family water sports business until late 2003, when he departed for graduate school.

In 2005, Gus received a masters of science in global supply chain management  from Maine Maritime Academy's Loeb-Sullivan School for International Business and Logistics.  Afterward, he joined Lucent Technologies as a global logistics manager/analyst, focusing on cost reductions and re-engineering of global transportation lanes and warehousing, serving in this capacity until the Fall of 2007.  From October 2007 through October 2008, he was employed with Cummins Turbo Technologies in Charleston, SC as a sourcing manager for new product introduction of heavy-duty diesel turbos.

It was a serendipitous meeting in 2008  between this father and son that a vision was seeded to start a new business brokerage to serve individuals and businesses in the Low Country pursuing going business concerns or divesting themselves from established businesses to pursue new challenges.  This team looks forward to the opportunity to working with individuals and groups who are in need of a professional and reliable business intermediary, financing, strategic business advice &/ or real estate services.
